I hate makeover shows. The “professionals” don’t do anything but buy the applicant expensive clothes she couldn’t normally afford, cake on makeup to make her look fake, and tell her she looks so much better now. If anything, that’s teaching her that being herself isn’t good enough. Why can’t someone just tell her that she needs to believe in herself and act like herself and learn to accept the person she is? Make a television show out of that.
